PTA PROGRAMS

Mason’s PTA is busy all year long with events and programs for our students and staff. This listing highlights and gives details on what you can look forward to!

Held once a year, kids have the opportunity to shop a wide selection of titles that are brought in and set up right inside our school. Parents, friends and grandparents are also welcome to come shop during the book fair, they just need to check in at the office. A portion of the proceeds from the book fair come back to our PTA.

The book fair is volunteer run! We have lots of opportunities to get involved. Please see our volunteer page to sign up!

The Box Tops 4 Education program is an easy way for us to earn money for our school. It’s simple! Purchase a participating product, clip the coupon and turn it in to school. We have two collection dates each year and will award a party to the classroom in each grade level turning in the most.

Click here to view participating products.

To see collection dates, check the calendar!

Candy Cane Lane is a holiday store where children come with their class to shop for holiday gifts for their families. Our volunteer elves shop all year long to find quality items and great deals for this huge event. Candy Cane Lane is not a fundraiser for our PTA, allowing us to keep gift costs minimal.

Candy Cane Lane is volunteer run! We have lots of opportunities to get involved. Please see our volunteer page to sign up!

Our awesome chair works diligently to prepare the directory that contains contact information for Mason families as well as other useful tidbits. At the beginning of the year, parents will have the option to opt out of having their information published.

Offered to 4th-6th grade students, Ecology Club raises awareness of the environment and encourages students to reduce, reuse and recycle. Meetings are typically held once a month before school on late start Wednesdays and include a variety of activities. In addition to monthly meetings, Ecology Club usually takes one field trip each year.  Watch the calendar for meeting dates and time.

Family Fun Nights vary throughout the year, providing opportunities for families to come together and have a good time. Past events have included Chipolte Night, Culver’s Night and ice cream socials. Check out our calendar for upcoming events!

Instead of selling cookie dough or gift wrap, we love to host a fundraising event instead! We work with corporate partners to raise funds while also inviting our school to purchase event tickets. Past fundraisers have included a 5k run/walk and a Trunk-or-Treat. Watch the website for details!

We love looking for ways to show our appreciation for the fabulous teachers and staff at Mason! Parent-Teacher Conferences in October mean long days for our teachers, so PTA provides a meal and snacks to keep them going! During Teacher Appreciation Week in May, we provide meals and events for the staff to thank them for all the work they do for our students.

Volunteers can help with our staff appreciation! Check the volunteer page to get involved.

The first year at Mason can be a little overwhelming! PTA seeks to help our new families connect with each other and our school through the Kindergarten Social, held on the playground before school starts. On the first day of school, Kindergarten families are welcome to attend the Boo-hoo/Yahoo Breakfast to learn more about Mason and share their tears or cheers.

The annual Reflections contest allows students to showcase their talents in a variety of ways. Submissions are judged at the school level and winners are sent on to compete at the county and state levels. Watch the calendar for important dates!

Lace up those skates! Kids and adults are invited to participate in our skate nights at Landmark 2 Skating Rink. The Golden Skate is awarded to the classroom having the most participants. Take a look at the calendar for our skate night dates!

PTA provides food and decorations to celebrate our Very Important People! Students are invited to bring a special someone to share breakfast treats with before school.
